The process of showing homes in Mexico is very different than in the U.S. where Realtors use a cell phone app to digitally access a vacant home and can set up a typical showing with five minutes’ lead time. Here, we have no lock boxes and the homes are almost always occupied, so we must schedule showing requests taking into account not only my schedule, but also the other Realtor’s schedule and the occupant’s schedule.

Typically it takes about 24-48 hours to set up showings. It’s also helpful to remember that many people are involved in the process, so if you are unable to meet the schedule we had previously agreed upon for a day of showings, please let us know as soon as possible so we can also let all the other showing Realtors know of your delay or cancellation.
