Yes, the majority or homes in San Miguel are indeed sold either fully furnished or partially furnished, some are even sold turnkey. Whether you should move your own furniture… depends on your taste in furniture and/or the amount of family heirlooms that are important to you. Most of my clients find that it is more affordable to accept the existing furniture and supplement or replace portions of it with local options from the multitude of furniture companies either here in San Miguel—much of which is custom-made—or from Queretaro, where there are plenty of good American-style affordable furniture chains. Get a quote from a reputable mover to help you decide how much you should move down.
