Frequently Asked Questions For Buying a Home in San Miguel de Allende
I’ve been told by my friends that I should work with more than one Realtor—is that true?

Only if you’re not getting the service your expect! See, unlike in some U.S. markets, we do not yet regularly use Buyers Representation contracts that legally obligate you to work with one Realtor. In San Miguel, I earn my commissions through hard work and— repeatedly over the years—best representing my clients’ interests, which is reflected in the number of sales I successfully close each year as one of the Top Producers in this town.

So initially I will verbally ask for your exclusivity and, in return, I will work extra hard to match you with your needs. Only if you find that an agent is unresponsive and doesn’t show you enough qualified options at your budget to satisfy your search requirement would you then be better to work with another or multiple agents.
