You bet! There are now numerous gated vineyard communities that are anywhere from 15 to twenty-five minutes outside San Miguel, many of which evoke a Tuscan or Provence lifestyle.
Some—like Santisima Trinidad and Viñedo San Lucas—require Tuscan architecture and the lots are all planted in olives, lavender and grapes, all harvested by the HOA and distributed to the homeowners after vendimmia, the wine harvest in September. Many of these communities offer common-area amenities like boutique hotels, restaurants, sometimes even polo and related horse events. Our team can tell you all about them! And all offer periodic events to the public for us locals, like weekly farmers markets, polo games, occasional concerts, and wine-harvest festivals.
